The work of LIFE Fluvial is reflected in the September 2021 newsletter of the “Zero plastic working group in the world network of island and coastal biosphere reserves”

The environmental volunteer activities carried out by LIFE Fluvial on June 5 and 6, 2021, during the celebration of World Environment Day and the Day of the Natura 2000 Network, were focused on the elimination of invasive alien species in the ZEC Encoro de Abegondo-Cecebre (ES1110004) as well as in the Monte Vecinal in Mano Común Monte das Moas, in the municipality of Irixoa.

The efforts of the volunteer staff and the technical team of LIFE Fluvial were also directed to the elimination of plastic waste found in the LIFE Fluvial action plots.

This activity has just been recognized with its publication in the September 2021 bulletin of the “Zero Plastic” working group, with the collaboration of the Network of Islands and Coastal Biosphere Reserves, of which Mariñas Coruñesas e Terras do Mandeo is part.
