Past Saturday, February 11, as the first post-LIFE FLUVIAL action, IBADER from Campus Terra (University of Santiago de Compostela) gave a conference in Ribadeo entitled “Restoration and application of best practices at Ría de Ribadeo wetland of international importance”, on the occasion of World Wetlands Day 2023, whose motto in this edition is “It is time for wetlands restoration”.
The conference, organized by the Ribadeo City Council, allowed the audience to make visible and increase their awareness about the actions carried out by LIFE FLUVIAL at Ría de Ribadeo wetland of international importance, as well as about the rest of the synergistic actions developed by the Ribadeo City Council within the protected wetland, and also on the participation of the rest of the involved stakeholders in the conservation and management of this wetland of international importance.
