The exhibition of the LIFE FLUVIAL project is open to the public until 12/02/2021 at the Centro de Interpretação Ambiental das Lagoas de Bertiandos e São Pedro d’Arcos (Rua da Lagoa de São Pedro d’Arcos n.º 476, 4990-530 S. Pedro d’Arcos – Ponte de Lima, Portugal; Coordinates: 41°45’52.48 “N / 8°38’33.26 “W). The opening hours of the CIA are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 17:30.
The exhibition is located in one of the sites of the LIFE FLUVIAL project, allowing to support the visit to the protected area of Lagoas de Bertiandos e São Pedro d’Arcos. The exhibition consists of 16 panels highlighting various aspects related to the project, in particular the areas of action in the Iberian Northwest, the natural values of the river corridors and their importance for the conservation of biodiversity, the threats to which they are subject and the actions planned to improve the state of conservation and extend the surface area of two habitats: 91E0* (Alluvial forests of Alnus glutinosa and Fraxinus excelsior) and 9230 (Galician-Portuguese oak woods with Quercus robur and Quercus pyrenaica).
